Relating to Characters

“My favorite book remains Harry Potter. Great characters, really easy to connect with…they’re really just students, but there is a sense of majesty and wonder.

Just like we do, Harry and his friends struggle with loads of homework. The only difference is the magical material they cover. I really need to catch up on math, and I do not get the things we’re covering now. Vector must be the worst subject that’s out there. I guess it let me connect with the story and make me read further on. I knew how the characters felt, and I always longed to get that letter from Hogwarts telling me I was actually a witch. I guess it made the whole story more of a reality. And as a young, innocent child, it made me believe in magic.

The main characters Ron, Harry, and Hermione share a really strong friendship that stands out in their missions to protect the sorcerer’s stone in the first book. They sacrifice themselves for Harry and it was very heartwarming. It reminds you what friendships are all about, and the bravery and diligence they show despite the towering hurdles is inspiring.”
